Yes. DottieNote's core experience — focus timer, notes, and planet collection — is completely free. Some advanced features (e.g. richer planets, cross-device synced spaces) may become available via subscription in the future.

DottieNote runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS 17.0 or later. For the NFC tap-to-focus feature, we recommend iPhone XS or newer.

A completed 30-minute focus session can unlock a planet. The 30-minute daily unlock is recorded once per local date, so consistency matters more than rushing through sessions.

Use official DottieNote stickers. After you receive a sticker, bind it to a task or currently supported start action in the app; after that, tapping the sticker opens or starts the linked flow.

Tasks, notes, and focus records are stored on your device by default. If you enable iCloud sync, data syncs through your own Apple ID. We do not read your notes or use them for training or analytics.

Simplified Chinese and English are fully supported today. More languages will follow based on user feedback.
